Active Parking Assist.

The Vito doesn’t just make parking simple – it can do it for you. With Active Parking Assist your Vito will automatically parallel park or manoeuvre itself into a bay. The system uses PARKTRONIC parking sensors, detecting when the van is close to an obstacle at the front or rear.manoeuvre itself into a bay. Driver comfort

The Vito’s 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel is not only ergonomically perfect, it’s the hub that puts you in control of your van. Twelve buttons put all the information you need at your fingertips. Those on the left provide access to menus in the instrument cluster, while those on the right adjust the volume for audio devices, control phones and navigation systems. The multifunction steering wheel allows easy, intuitive control, with minimal distraction from the road.

Reversing Camera

The reversing camera will make things easier and safer when parking or performing a tricky manoeuvre in the Vito. When reverse gear is engaged, a high-resolution screen in the dashboard displays the area behind the vehicle, allowing you to see exactly how much space there is. Guide lines also enable you to judge distances at a glance.

Numerous seating options

Seating anywhere between 2 and 9 people, the Vito Tourer’s floor rails allow the second row of seats to be turned around to face the rearmost seats if desired. Alternatively, benches with two seats can be ordered, as can comfort seats and a 2-2-2 seating configuration.

Table package

An optional folding table can be installed instead of the first rear seat row. The table can be raised on its stem, and provides two additional stowage compartments when raised.

Bunk package

The optional 3-seater bench / luxury bunk features a bed extension and two black drawers. The bed measures approx. 2.03 x 1.35 m (compact model) or 1.93 x 1.35 m (long).

Vito Tourer Pro

Our standard Tourer, the Vito Tourer PRO offers flexible seating for eight people, with quick release mounts in the passenger compartment meaning it can easily be transformed into a 5, 4 or 2-seater vehicle, creating more space for bulky loads.

The steering wheel can be tilted and adjusted in height, while the heated power exterior mirrors make life easier for drivers.

With tinted green glass and practical stowage facilities in the side wall panelling, passengers travel in spacious comfort and style.

Sleek, sporty external styling and superior comfort for passengers – the Vito Tourer Select’s luxury seats with armrests, adjustable backrests and head restraints invite instant relaxation, while a quick-release seat rail system enables the position of the bench seats to be adjusted for extra leg room.

Safety Features

Collision Prevention assist: Spotting accidents before they happen.

Optional Collision Prevention Assist acts like an extra pair of eyes on the road, constantly looking ahead and actively warning the driver if the distance to the vehicle ahead is insufficient.

A radar sensor in the front of the vehicle – constantly active from 18-100mph - monitors the relative speed and distance to the vehicle in front. Stationary obstacles can be registered when driving at up to 45mph.

If the system registers an unsafe following distance, a warning light shows. If the distance continues to decrease rapidly due to the vehicle's high speed or strong acceleration, an intermittent warning tone is also sounded. At the same time, Collision Prevention Assist primes the Braking Assist system for action.

Tyre pressure monitoring: Checking tyre pressure so you don't have to.

The standard tyre pressure monitoring system informs you when there is insufficient tyre pressure, allowing you to take action before setting off.

Crosswind Assist: Higher safety levels in high winds.

Crosswind Assist uses ADAPTIVE ESP® sensor technology to detect instability caused by wind gusts.

The system automatically applies the brakes to selected wheels in order to stabilise the vehicle and increase safety for the driver and other road-users. This is particularly helpful on bridges or when passing trucks and coaches.

A control light in the instrument cluster lets the driver know if Crosswind Assist is intervening.

Attention Assist: Always alert.

Thanks to steering wheel sensors, the ATTENTION ASSIST function can pick up typical signs of drowsiness and alert the driver through a combination of audio and visual signals. ATTENTION ASSIST comes as standard on the Vito.

Lane Keeping Assist: Keeping you on the right track.

Optional Lane Keeping Assist does what it says on the tin. A camera on the inside of the windscreen registers lane markings, while the system monitors the driver's actions in order to determine whether a lane change is intentional or not. If the system judges driving behaviour to be adrift, steering wheel vibrations and visual signals warn the driver, reducing the likelihood of accidents due to lapses in attention.

Blind Spot Assist: Seeing whatever you can't.

The optional Blind Spot Assist function covers the unseen areas around your vehicle. If a vehicle is detected in the blind spot, a red warning triangle lights up on the mirror.

If the driver operates the turn signal, the illuminated triangle flashes and a warning tone sounds, helping to prevent a collision.

Engines & Transmission

The versatile Vito Panel Van provides a choice of drive systems, engines, power outputs and transmissions. The Vito is the first and only van in its class to provide the option of front- wheel or rear- wheel drive. Two 4-cyclinder diesel engines with common-rail direct injection and turbo-charging offer exceptional efficiency and low fuel consumption.

The 109CDI and 111CDI models use a 1.6 litre engine with 88hp and 114hp respectively and are front wheel drive

The 114DCDI, 116CDI and 119CDI models use a 2.1 litre engine with 136hp, 163hp and 190hp respectively and are rear wheel drive

Drive the electric future.

The eVito has a range of up to 93 miles on a single charge. The capacity of the installed battery is 41 kWh and can be charged from 0 to 100% in approximately 6 hours. The high voltage battery is located in the vehicle floor meaning there is no impact on either the loading area or passenger compartment.

The electric motor is only available on Long and Extra long lengths .

Reduce CO2 emissions and running costs.

The BlueEFFICIENCY Package which is standard on the Rear-wheel drive 114CDI, 116CDI and 119CDI models includes:

- ECO Start/Stop - temporarily switches off the engine when the vehicle is stationary, reducing fuel consumption and emissions and improving air quality, particularly in urban environments and stop-and-go traffic

- Smart alternator management recharges the Vito's battery, when coasting or braking

- Fuel-efficient transmission oil is used in manual transmission vehicles with 136hp and 163hp outputs

- Rolling-resistance optimised tyres reduce friction on front wheel drive models

6-speed manual transmission - fine-tuned to provide the optimum balance between performance, consumption, ride comfort and handling available as standard for all models except 119 CDI models.

7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission system includes steering wheel mounted paddles and a transmission mode selection switch (Eco/Comfort/Manual). 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission is available as standard on the 119CDI models and as an option on 114CDI and 116CDI models.
